Man falls out of car, which then rolls over his groin

A 55-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital on Sunday afternoon after being run over by the vehicle he had been driving.

The man was reversing a boat and trailer on a private property at Palmview on the Sunshine Coast about 5.30pm when he fell out of the vehicle.

The car continued to travel backwards, and it reversed over him.

The man sustained pelvic and groin injuries.

He taken to Caloundra Hospital by ambulance in a stable condition.
