Trial hears Gladstone man denies raping his little sister

AT LEAST five children will give evidence in the trial of a young man accused of committing sexual offences against his little sister.

The man, who is the girl's foster brother, is alleged by the Crown to have raped the girl three times when she was aged nine.

A jury in the District Court at Gladstone yesterday heard evidence from the girl, now a teenager, outlining incidents she said took place in the family home when he was 15.

The man denies the charges.

The girl said she had not realised what was happening the first time and in another incident told him to stop.

The trial continues before Judge Fleur Kingham.
