Magpies to play on in 2011

The Byron Magpies AFL side is still alive 2011.

At a crisis meeting in Bangalow last weekend, players and supporters put in place measures for the club to field a side in 2011.

However, more volunteers are needed.

The club still needs help in goal umpiring, scoreboard duties, medical support and on-field duties.

The club still needs a coach and more players. A meeting to elect a committee will be held on February 17 at the Bangalow Bowls Club at 6.30pm.

Nominations for office bearers or anyone who wants to play or help the club: ring Mick Hosking 0432401334 or George Pike 66841454.
