LOCAL primary and secondary schools have been applauded by Member for Page Janelle Saffin today for demonstrating their Anzac spirit.

Ms Saffin said Anzac Day was a central part of our history and it was important young Australians learnt about the significance of the day.

“A number of local schools have students take part in Dawn Services and local marches on Anzac Day and many conduct their own Anzac commemorations."
