Local players get advice from former Boomer

BRAD Davidson, former Australian Boomer and NBL great, hosted a shooting clinic for Byron Basketball at the Byron Recreation Sport and Cultural Centre last week.

The clinic was open to all junior players, coaches and parents wanting to learn the best techniques in shooting and individual skills development.

The clinic was a huge success, supported by over a hundred junior players, their coaches and parents.

Formerly from Mullumbimby, Davidson started his playing career as a junior in Byron Bay.

After an illustrious career in the NBL and representing Australia in its gold medal-winning performance in the 2006 Commonwealth Games, he was appointed National Shooting Coach and Talent Identification Manager for Basketball Australia.
