Local ready to ride for Australia at six day enduro

LOCAL Thomas Jenner is getting prepared for his big break! He has been selected to represent Australia at the International Six Day Enduro event that will be held in September in Slovakia, Europe.

This race is the biggest in the Enduro event in the world. It has been a dream of Thomas to ride in one of these since he was a young boy, now that opportunity is here.

Thomas Jenner attended Byron Bay High School and now works as a local carpenter and at the Byron Bay Earth and Sea Pizza shop.

Thomas is a hard working committed community member that has worked 2 jobs for 7 years to support his passion for motor bike racing.

Throughout the year Thomas travels all over Australia pursuing his ambition to race at an international level, currently he is graded as a professional rider.

This will be the first international event he has participated in. Thomas is currently in the QLD state team that race in the Australian Off Road 4 Day series every year.

The race and travel costs are approximately $15,000, this is completely self-funded.
