Literary menu feast for young and old

It will be a feast for book lovers when the Byron Bay Writers Festival opens tomorrow morning (Friday) at Belongil Fields.

The 13th annual festival started on Monday with a series of workshops, with the main, three-day marquee program concluding on Sunday.

More than 100 renowned and emerging writers and authors from around Australia and overseas will converge on Byron Bay for what has become one of the most popular and renowned writers festivals in the country.

It will be a literary smorgasbord of words, ideas, literary lunches, dinners and feature events.
There will be something for everyone, including the kids.

Fiction, non-fiction, film, theatre, verse and lashings of laughter – you’ll find it all and more at the festival.
