'I'm sixty-f******-five!': Neeson retires from action films

LIAM Neeson has taken his "very particular set of skills" and is going home.

The Northern Irish actor announced he is quitting action movies after admitting audiences are unlikely to believe he's the man to save the day anymore.

What is your favourite Liam Neeson action film?

This poll ended on 31 December 2017.

Star Wars: Episode I

The Grey

Batman Begins

Rob Roy

Clash of the Titans

This is not a scientific poll. The results reflect only the opinions of those who chose to participate.

"They're still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff," Neeson told Sky News at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"I'm like: 'Guys, I'm sixty-f******-five!'

"Audiences are eventually going to go: 'Come on!'"

Neeson has been a popular choice to appear as the hero for studios in recent times, from science fiction (Star Wars: Episode I) to gripping thrillers (The Grey).

But it's Neeson's role as former CIA operative Bryan Mills in the successful Taken trilogy that cemented him as a bankable action star.

However, Neeson fans who like to see their man chasing down the bad guy can still get their fix with The Commuter and Widows scheduled for release next year.
