Legendary surfer is even More Stoked! than ever

LEGENDARY surfer and surfboard designer Bob McTavish has written a sequel to his 2009 best-selling autobiography, Stoked!

Featuring many never-before-seen photographs, More Stoked! follows McTavish as he navigates his way through the surfing scene during the late 1960s and early '70s.

"Crazy life only got crazier," he said. "In came the shortboard revolution, drugs, free love, surf travel, fame, and endless surf and shaping adventures."

Voted the most influential shaper of all time by Australia's Surfing Life magazine in 1992, McTavish is credited with kick-starting the shortboard revolution.

Today, McTavish Surfboards, which have been produced since 1962, manufactures and distributes 20 different surfboard models to more than 30 countries from its Byron Bay factory.

"We house about $300,000 worth of inventory at any given time," he said. More Stoked! is published by HarperCollins.
