LeBron guides Cavaliers to another clean sweep

BASKETBALL: LeBron James was close to flawless again as his Cleveland Cavaliers completed their second clean sweep of the NBA playoffs and stormed into the record books.

In the eighth dominant performance by the King in eight games, James put up 35 points, six assists and nine rebounds as the Cavaliers beat the Toronto Raptors 109-102.

"Since the second half of the season, he's really went to another level," Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said. "We're just riding him right now. The way he's been playing is phenomenal."

Having already crushed the Pacers 4-0, the Cavs became the first team in NBA history to start 8-0 in two straight playoffs, and win 19 consecutive first and second-round playoff games.

Kyrie Irving played the closer role with a huge fourth quarter on his way to 27 points and nine assists.

"We knew once we were healthy we could go on runs like this," Lue said.

"Get our rotations set ... and do some things defensively we know we're capable of doing."
