Kisane named top junior

Byron Bay Junior Surf Life Saving Club’s Kisane Irwin has been selected as the Byron Bay and the Far North Coast junior female surf lifesaver of the year.

Tazman Murray-Woodhouse was Byron Bay’s male contestant.

Kisane and Daniel Swift from Cudgen Headland SLSC have both been selected and will represent the FNC Branch together with branch winners from all over NSW to contest the male and female NSW Junior Surf Lifesaver of the year for 2011 at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge in March 2011.

The award is a way for clubs and branches to recognise their U14 members’ achievements and contributions they have made to surf life saving at all levels.

Kisane and Daniel will now go to the state trial where they will be interviewed about their help and promotion of surf lifesaving.
