Kirk rues scores and lost gear

THE Sunshine Coast's Katherine Kirk shot a one-over round of 74 yesterday to sit in 13th place after the third round of the Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast.

The 2009 champion heads into today's final round on even par and will have to pull out something special if she is to catch tournament leader Choi Eun Woo, who is on four under.

Kirk was just one shot off the pace on day one but scores of two over 75 and one over 74 have hurt the Coast golfer.

The 32-year-old has had some bad luck in the lead-up to the Masters.

She arrived at Brisbane Airport at 8am on Wednesday ready to tee it up on Thursday in the Ladies Masters, but unfortunately her luggage and golf clubs didn't.
