Kid-friendly events make Bluesfest more family-friendly

BRINGING your children along to Bluesfest doesn't sound like much fun, does it?

It sounds like a stress-filled day, full of keeping them entertained and in your sight at all times.

This year all that will change, because this year Bluesfest will be running a program that will create a fun and enjoyable day that you and the kids are sure to love.

It's called Mayhem Merriment and Madness at Bluesfest 2014.

From clowning around with the local clowns to treasure hunts, your children will have a ball.

From 2-3pm, Thursday through to Monday, the little ones will be able to clown around with local clowns Shorty and Bumsqueak, making balloon animals, throwing water balloons, learning how to fire twirl, hula hoop, ride a unicycle while wearing red noses and funny wigs and play lots of other fun and engaging games.

From 5-6pm every day, your children will be able to play pirates and look for treasure, learn how to juggle, make bubbles and balloons, learn magic tricks and put on a magic show for you and the rest of the family.

On the last night, kids will be able to attend a Mad Hatter's Ball held just for them.

They will be able to create masks with Shorty before they go or bring in their favourite one from home.

No booking is required although parental supervision is needed.

All information and a day to day program is available at bluesfest.com.au.
