GETTING around the site of the 2011 Optus Gympie Music Muster will be a breeze, thanks to Kia confirming its partnership with the iconic event through its support of nine Muster Movers to transport fans, stars and officials around the Amamoor Creek State park over the six-day festival.
With an overhaul of the operations and logistics under way to not only meet Occupation Health and Safety standards but also to ensure safety of artists and patrons, a need to put greater emphasis and management of the access and egress of the site was identified by event organisers.
The new system will also create a streamlined approach for services and suppliers requiring access to venues while also reducing impact on patrons.
Kia has been providing the world with exciting cars for more than six decades.
Kia has been in Australia for more than 10 years and there are more than 120,000 Kia cars on Australian roads.
Building more than 1.3 million vehicles a year in 14 plants across nine countries, Kia's range of vehicles is sold in more than 160 countries.
“Having Kia come on board with nine Muster Movers is of great benefit to the 2011 Optus Gympie Music Muster,” Optus Gympie Music Muster CEO Vickii Cotter said.
“There were a few areas that we needed to address immediately for the safety and concern of our patrons and this is the first step in implementing the right actions at the event site. Kia's confirmation as a partner is a greater inclusion.”
