Byron Bay Surf Club took its biggest team in five years to the recent NSW Junior State Titles at Blacksmiths Beach, Swansea.
All 18 competitors did the club proud, performing excellently against tough competition and conditions.
They competed in individual and team events on the sand and in the water, gaining great results, with 12 competitors making the finals.
Star performer was Joshua Brown in the under 13s.
Making it through to the swim, board and ironman finals, Josh led the swim from start to finish, taking home a precious gold medal, and finishing 4th in the ironman, capping off a brilliant season for him.
