Joyce and Turnbull: Coalition is under threat

OUR SAY: YOU really have to wonder if the Federal Coalition is fit to run the country.

The latest salvos on the Barnaby Joyce saga certainly leaves a lot of room for doubt.

Earlier yesterday Mr Joyce gave Malcolm Turnbull a couple of backhanders.

His comments came after the Prime Minister on Thursday dubbed Mr Joyce's conduct "appalling" while announcing ground-breaking new ministerial standards that ban sexual relations between ministers and their staff.

Not sure yet apparently about the backbenchers, their staff and sex.

It may still be open slather in the cheap seats?

It wasn't too hard for the voting public to see Mr Turnbull had had a gutful of the whole business.

Mr Joyce, who hasn't been able to take a trick in the whole sorry business, came out firing yesterday calling Mr Turnbull's statements inept and unnecessary. Was he kidding?

It would be funny if it wasn't such a sorry commentary on those running our country.

Clearly the Coalition is in disarray. Mr Shorten may be laughing all the way to the top job.
