ALL SMILES: Annie and Franco Ivancich from Byron Bay Coffee Company celebrate their recent win at the Royal Hobart Fine Foods Awards.

Its a top brew

BYRON Bay Coffee Company has added yet another award to its already bulging show cabinet, and this time it’s a big one.

Last week the company won Champion of the Show at the prestigious Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards for its exotic blend coffee.

The company sent 15 entries and won 15 awards – seven gold, three silver and five bronze.

There were 21 coffee companies competing.

Byron Bay Coffee Company has now won 92 awards and is the most awarded coffee company in Australia, according to owner Annie Ivancich, who said she was thrilled with the award.

“The business has been entering coffee competitions since 1999 and it’s wonderful to be rewarded for all our hard work,” she said.

“This award, however, has surpassed everything.”
