Rusty & Trisha Miller with Turning Point

Is Turning Point, Turning Japanese?

If you are a surfer I'm sure you are aware of the book, Turning Point by LOCAL surfing legend Rusty Miller .

With the sub-title, Surf Portraits and Stories from Bells to Byron 1970-71, the book features about 60 images in its pages and not one of them shows any surfing action.

Local Japanese and ESL teacher, Esther Daniel, and Rusty are teaming up to bring the Byron Bay surfing community and the Japanese surfing community even closer together through the translation of Rusty's book, Turning Point, into Japanese.

Starting in May, a group of budding like-minded people are planning to get together to translate Rusty's book into Japanese.
