Injury hits Queensland Bulls ahead of clash with the leader

QUEENSLAND has suffered a blow ahead of its Sheffield Shield clash against competition leader Western Australia at Allan Border Field starting today, with paceman Luke Feldman (groin) ruled out.

Rookie all-rounder Jack Wildermuth is set to become the ninth Queensland debutant this season. The 21-year-old will follow the path blazed by his late grandfather, Graham Bizzell, who played 30 matches for the state in the 1960s.

A right-handed middle order batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Wildermuth comes into the Bulls squad for the injured Simon Milenko (thumb).

In other games starting today, New South Wales will take on Tasmania at Bankstown Oval, and South Australia will play Victoria in Glenelg.
