Car crash sends infant and two adults to hospital
VICTIMS of a traffic crash are in a stable condition with minor injuries after the smash occurred on Dalby on Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred when a late model four-door hatchback, heading east along Drayton St, slowed to turn onto Winton St.
In the driver's seat was a woman with an open licence, with a male toddler in a safety seat in the rear passenger seat and a man in the front passenger seat.
The man driving the truck failed to stop for the hatchback and smashed into its rear, writing off the smaller vehicle.
The truck suffered minor damage.
The occupants of the vehicles were sent to Dalby Hospital with injuries - the man in the hatchback is believed to have suffered a fractured cheekbone.
The smash occurred just a few hundred metres from the wreckers' yard, where the destroyed hatchback will be stored until being scrapped.
The tow-truck company will receive a government-mandated $300 fee for their services.
