HOLIDAY bookings in Queensland will be boosted by three soon when the winners of the Secrets of Queensland competition claim their prizes.

The trio added photographs to a special online photo gallery that highlighted Queensland holiday destinations visited by our website users.

One photo from each of APN’s coverage areas, from Mackay to Coffs Harbour, was selected as a finalist, with the public invited to select the top three. Those three photos secured a Queensland holiday valued at $1000 for each of the star photographers.

The winning photographs feature parasailing on Hamilton Island, soaking in a sunset at Montes Beach Resort on the Whitsundays and capturing the laid-back atmosphere of Heron Island.

Make sure you pick up a copy of next Saturday’s paper when a special five-page feature will showcase many of the almost 200 photos submitted for the competition.
