You've been playing the Australian music festival scene for a number of years now - what do you enjoy about playing the festival circuit?
There's a lot to love about being on the festival circuit!
Of course you get to see some amazing festivals, music and performer of all types. But you also become part of a community.
There's a lot of the same artists and crew that do a lot of the festivals and you get to know and love a lot of these people along the way.
What can the audience expect from your show at Mullumbimby in March?
Dancing, just cutting sick on the the floor!
Bullhorn is high energy, a lot of fun and all about getting up and moving!
Are you looking forward to working with Vaudeville Smash for this show?
Yeah we love playing with Vaudeville Smash! We first did a show with them at Junction Alley on the Sunshine Coast in July and loved their sound! 80's throw back funk, so much fun!!
With a lineup of nine musicians, can things sometimes get a bit crazy, or does having more members actual help to focus you?
Yeah, logistically it can definitely be crazy, but we've got an awesome crew of guys in Bullhorn, so generally everything runs smoothly...
Have you got any new releases in the works?
We just dropped a new single at the end of last year, Uphill. We've got another that's cooking along, but won't be dropping that till the end of the year.
- Bullhorn with special guests Vaudeville Smash will be performing at the Mullumbimby Civic Memorial Hall, 55 Dalley St, Mullumbimby, this Saturday, March 4 from 8pm.
