Here they come

BUMPER nominations for Grafton's two biggest race-days should ensure full fields for next Wednesday's Ramornie Handicap and Thursday's Grafton Cup.

Headlining the 25 entries for the $130,000 WHK Ramornie Handicap (1,200m) is the Con Karakatsanis-trained Black Piranha with more than $2.6 million in prizemoney in the bank.

“I couldn't be happier with Black Piranha, he's settled in really well at Grafton and will have his final gallop between races at Sunday's South Grafton Cup meeting,” Karakatsanis said.

The $150,000 Wykes Tyrepower Grafton Cup (2,350m) has also attracted a strong list of 23 entries, including The Verminator, Arcenciel, Gold In Dubai and the Robert Smerdon-trained Light Vision.
