Guitars being raffled off for cystic fibrosis charity

MARKET visitors can get up close and personal with the three Gibson Les Paul guitars being raffled at Bluesfest this year.

They'll be at the Byron Markets, Butler St Reserve, from 8am to 3pm on Sunday.

Guitars are raffled each year to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Australia, one of the charities supported by Bluesfest.

The prized instruments will be at Bluesfest from April 2 to 6 and signed by many of the major performing artists, with the raffle drawn on the main stage on Easter Monday.

Cystic fibrosis is a common recessive genetic condition for which there is no cure.

People can buy raffle tickets at the markets and Byron Music, and also the Byron@Byron Resort & Spa on March 13, where the guitars will displayed from 5-8pm.
