Man who let 7-year-old son drive to plead guilty at court

A LISMORE man who was intoxicated while his car was being driven by his seven-year-old son on the Gold Coast last month intends to plead guilty.

The 41-year-old, who legally can't be named as it will identify his child, appeared in Southport Magistrates court yesterday.

His solicitor told the court he intends to plead guilty to charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and adult in charge under the influence of liquor.
