Greens MPs travel to Bentley to join gas project blockade

AUSTRALIAN Greens Senators Scott Ludlam (Western Australia) and Larissa Waters (Queensland) will travel to the Northern Rivers to hold a public forum and attend the community blockade against gas drilling at Bentley on Saturday and Sunday.

Senators Ludlam and Waters will hold a forum at the St John's school hall in Mullumbimby at 7pm on Saturday before heading out to camp at the Bentley blockade.

"I'm travelling to the blockade to show my strong support in person, to meet the courageous people taking a stand and do whatever I can do," Senator Ludlam said.
