TV PERSONALITY Grant Denyer's wife Chezzi has opened up about Kyle Sandilands' sensational "strip club story" this morning involving herself and her hubby.

The former producer was on air with Jackie O Henderson when the KIIS FM host confronted her over the shock jock's claims.

"(Kyle) said he was out in the Cross at a strip club and he was there, I think with Imogen, and he turns around and he sees Grant Denyer and he says, 'Hey mate, what are you doing here? Where's your wife? I bet she wouldn't be happy that you're here'," she said today.

"And he said that he turned around and you're there by the stage making it rain on all the strippers."

Chezzi called Sandilands "a ratbag" after laughing off the story.

"He's not even here to defend himself," she added.

"Let me paint the picture for you. I've been on the road for six weeks with the crew, we'd come back to Sydney, we saw Kyle. He said, 'Guys come with me to this strip joint, you'll have loads of fun'.

"So Kyle took Grant and I for our first experience at a strip club and Kyle gave me a massive wad of cash to put in the girls' knickers, which he thought was hilarious and so did I, I thought it was great. Grant was horrified."

Chezzi said the first dancer came out and recognised Grant from TV.

"She looked over and said, 'Oh my God it's Grant Denyer. I'm so excited, I want to get into TV. Can you help me get into TV when I finish dancing?' and that was our strip club experience."
