'Good fella' John continues support for nippers

CLUB president Ian Heiniger says Mullumbimby's Mallams supermarket manager John Waterhouse has been supporting Brunswick Nippers for a number of years “because he's a good fella”.

And this year has been no exception to John's tradition of having customers put their dockets in a bucket and giving a percentage to the club.

“We get no government money, so all our funds come from fundraising, plus the support of great local businesses like Mallams,” said Ian.

Since the promotion is ongoing, shoppers can still assist the surf lifesaving cause at the checkout.
