Want a job? This CQ coal mine is recruiting workers now
GLENCORE will add to it's Collinsville mine workforce of 170 during the coming weeks.
The state's oldest coal mine scaled back production and cut 180 jobs in early 2015, before announcing it would restart operations and recruit more than 200 positions in October.
The restart was fuelled by an increased demand for it's specific coal type out of South-East Asia.
According to a company spokesman it planned to ramp up recruitment "in a phased manner over the next few weeks".

However he said positions were changing by the week, so it was difficult to be specific on which jobs would be recruited for and when.
These positions are likely to be through labour hire company WorkPac, which contracts to the mine.
Any interested applicants should register their interest on WorkPac's website at https://www.workpac.com/
All applications should be made directly to WorkPac's Bowen office.
