The NCMC Casino Beef Week Fashion Parade last night was a sell-out corker of fashion and fun.

The newly-crowned Beef Week Queen, Georgie-Ann King, who was integral in the organisation of the event, already proved she was worthy of her sash.

The local hair and beauty businesses offered some superb finishing touches to the night and TAFE fashion students showcased some of the more cutting-edge designs of the evening.

There was some disappointed men in the audience, however.

Eagerly anticipating the lingerie section of the evening, they didn't quite expect the winter flannelette pyjamas and dressing gowns on the catwalk.

The 600 people who attended went home on a frosty night with a little more style than they arrived with.

And perhaps a little tipsier.
