Fugitive’s family urged to make him surrender

POLICE have publicly urged family and friends of fugitive Taylor Ware to convince him to surrender.

Ware, who is wanted on nine conviction warrants for 23 offences, is in the spotlight this week as one of Australia's 20 most wanted fugitives being targeted as part of Operation Roam 2015.

His alleged offences include aggravated break and enter and police pursuit, as well as larceny, trespassing and stealing offences committed in Corindi between May and July 2014.

Ware has confirmed associates in Grafton.

Coffs/Clarence crime manager Detective Inspector Darren Jameson said the key message was that if you're wanted by police now, you'll remain wanted.

"Whether it's now or in 20 years time you will have to front up and face these matters," Det Insp Jameson said. "I urge any family or friends of Mr Ware to convince him to surrender as these matters will not go away."

Ware is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, about 180-185cm tall, with red hair, brown eyes and of a medium build.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
