Firefighters join forces

Members of the Byron Bay Rural Fire Brigade and the Byron Bay NSW Fire Brigade joined forces last Sunday morning for a training exercise at Red Devil Park during which they rescued an ‘injured person’ from a burning ‘car’.

The ‘injured person’ was a dummy and the ‘car’ was specially made for such exercises.

It was one of a series of joint exercises planned by the two brigades.
