Fifi Box tweets first picture of Trixie Belle
FIFI Box, the radio host linked to Sunshine Coast ironman legend Grant Kenny, has shared the first picture of her newborn daughter on Twitter today.
The Today Network host posted a photo of her cradling Beatrix Belle Box with her radio co-host Jules Lund.
"It's not that you're boring @juleslund but maybe work a bit harder to entertain my daughter next time you visit," Box wrote alongside the picture of a yawning Trixie.
News.com.au reports New Idea have run exclusive pictures of mum and bub with Box telling the magazine that none of her professional achievements even came close to the elation she felt at her baby daughter's birth.
"The first few days with Trixie have been the calmest and most serene of my life," Fifi tells New idea.
"It really is as if my life has just begun," she said.
Last December, it was reported that Grant Kenny was no longer dating Fifi Box, despite revelations by a woman's magazine that he is the father of the TV and radio personality's child.
"It's understood Kenny - who sold his Queensland-based aviation company in January for an estimated $70 million - has agreed to support Box financially,'' news.com.au reported at the time.
Grant Kenny wins Australian senior and junior ironman titles at Maroochydore Beach, 1980.
Kenny, a former ironman legend and well known and liked lifesaving identity on the Sunshine Coast, has refused to talk about the New Idea story, saying he doesn't discuss his personal life.
Box went public with news of her pregnancy in November, describing it as "the truest and most indescribable joy I have ever felt.''
"For those who don't know I began seeing someone at the end of last year who would like to remain out of the public eye which I will respect and endeavour to protect.
"The focus for me is to make sure I bring a happy, healthy baby into the world who knows how much it is loved.''
