Family speaks out on 'gangster' car-park execution
THE family of a Sydney gangster who was executed in an eastern suburbs car park last year have broken the underworld code of silence and pleaded for help to catch his killer.
Hells Angels bikie Tyrone Slemnik was shot dead outside an apartment block at Eastlakes on July 8.
Police were told a group of men were fired upon while standing in the park and Tyrone - a 42-year-old father - was killed in the crossfire.
Three men have been charged over the shooting but police believe the murderer is still at large.
Tyrone's brother Zoltan, father Ricko and partner Elizabeth fronted the media in Sydney on Friday.
Reading out a statement on behalf of the family, Zoltan said they didn't want anyone else to go through the pain they had experienced.
"We will never see Tyrone grow old, and his kids will be forced to grow up without their dad," he said
"We want them taken off the street so that no other family has to endure the hell we have experienced every single day since Tyrone's murder."
Investigations by Strike Force Shenton continue.
