AN EAGLE-EYED Game of Thrones fan has noticed that newly engaged Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are related.
The actor - who plays Jon Snow in the hit HBO drama - confirmed his engagement to his former co-star with an announcement in The Times newspaper today.
While fans are delighted the couple are to wed, one couldn't help but notice something amiss after reading both their Wikipedia pages, reports The Sun.
Taking to Twitter they wrote alongside screen shots of both profiles: "Cool that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are engaged but also they are related???"

Indeed, Kit's early life section reads: "Through his paternal grandmother, Lavender Cecilia Denny, Harington's eighth-great-grandfather was Charles II of England."
Meanwhile, Rose's says: "Her mother is Candida Mary Sibyl 'Candy' Leslie (nee Weld) of Clan Fraser, maternal great-granddaughter of Simon Fraser, 13th Lord Lovat, and descendant of Charles II of England".
While the couple have never commented on their mutual royal relation, they are thrilled to be tying the knot, just a year after going public with their relationship.
After keeping their romance under wraps for four years, the couple announced their engagement in London-based newspaper The Times.
Their ad stating: "Mr K.C. Harington and Miss R.E. Leslie.
"The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcesterhire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."
The couple met on the set of the hit show when they played onscreen lovers, but they are now getting married in real life.
Rose played Ygritte from seasons two to four and Kit still plays her character's former lover Jon Snow.
After keeping tight-lipped for so long, Kit hasn't held back on declaring his love for Rose, who previously appeared in Downton Abbey as maid Gwen.
He has admitted: "If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."
