
Emergency landing at Mackay airport
A TIGER flight had to divert to Mackay Airport this morning because of a medical emergency.
Flight TGW582 was on a routine flight from Melbourne to Cairns leaving Tullamarine Airport at 8.30am when it was diverted to Mackay Airport.
The flight landed at Mackay at about 10am.

It was on the ground for more than an hour before continuing its journey to Cairns landing at 11.53am.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics were not required at the airport on Saturday morning.
