GOLD Coast junior Brendan Elliot has got his dream reunion, linking with the Titans for the 2018 NRL season.

The 23-year-old backline utility confirmed his return home on Friday after officially severing ties with Newcastle at the end of last season.

Elliot will provide invaluable options out wide for a Titans team that will be desperate to build on what proved to be a sorry 2017 campaign.

He played 23 games during his 18-month stretch at the Knights but will return to the region that kickstarted his NRL ambitions when he lined up for Runaway Bay.

He left Gold Coast straight after high school to link with the Roosters before moving to Newcastle.

"I can't wait,” Elliot said of his return.

"All my family and friends are there and as my partner is from the Gold Coast as well. We can't wait to get back there.”

Having spent 2017 in and out of the NRL side in Newcastle, Elliot is looking forward to working towards cementing a permanent first grade spot at the Titans.

"That's definitely part of the reason (to come to the Titans). It's a really good opportunity and I'll be looking to get some more minutes in the NRL,” he said.
