Electricity privatisation to dominate leader debate

ELECTRICITY privatisation will be a hot topic when NSW Premier Mike Baird and Opposition Leader Luke Foley face-off in the state election's first leaders' debate on Friday.

APN will report throughout the broadcast, with to-the-minute updates and a live Twitter feed keeping readers up to date on how the debate unfolds.

The leaders are expected to face tough questions about the state's rising gas costs, following a Wednesday's parliamentary committee finding that ramping up CSG mining would not bring down prices.

Returning voters' trust in government will also come under the microscope in the wake of the findings of last year's Independent Commission Against Corruption.

To stay informed on how the leaders' debate plays out, follow @APNNewsdesk on Twitter and watch for updates on APN websites from 11.30am on Friday.
