Driver crashes into a wall at the PM's Lodge

A CAR has crashed into a wall at the Prime Minister's Lodge in Canberra.

The elderly driver has been taken to hospital following the incident, according to the ACT Emergency Services Agency.

"Firefighters are working to stabilise the concrete wall of the Prime Minister's Lodge on "National Circuit after a car crash," a report on the agency's website stated.

"ACT Fire & Rescue has two pumpers and a commander on scene assisting AFP. The wall has suffered significant damage.

"ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are transporting the elderly driver to The Canberra Hospital.
