Early morning fire leaves Coffs home gutted

A FIRE has left a home in Gallagher Pl gutted. Luckily it's believed the family who own the home were not present at the time.

A number of concerned neighbours near the westernmost point of Combine St called the emergency number at about 1.30am on Monday morning.

Fire and Rescue crews, along with Police and Paramedics arrived to find the house well alight, with the roof caved in from the intensity of the fire.

A cause of the fire has not been determined as yet.
