Dumped car causes bushfire at Coochin Creek


A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman has confirmed crews have successfully extinguished the bushfire that was sparked this afternoon at Bells Creek Road, Coochin Creek.


RURAL and urban fire crews are battling to contain a blaze sparked after a car was dumped and set alight on Bells Creek Road, Coochin Creek.

The car was found burnt-out in a paddock, with the fire sparking a small grass fire which quickly erupted into a fully-fledged bushfire, just before 4pm.
