Driver rescues toddler who walks on to busy road

Shocking dashcam footage has emerged of the moment a young child almost toddled into traffic on a major road.

According to the date stamp, the video was filmed on Sunday, however, it's unclear where the incident occurred.

"Oh my God!" the woman driving the car with the camera could be heard saying, before she runs over and picks up the little girl.

The clip shows a police car performing a dangerous U-turn with lights and sirens before two officers jump out to help.

Fortunately, the child escaped unharmed.
