Ulmarra crash victim still not identified

THE crash victim who died on the Pacific Hwy just north of Ulmarra on Tuesday is yet to be identified.

It is believed the man was not an Australian citizen but a foreign national.

A police spokesman said the early indications from investigations at the scene suggested the man may have fallen asleep at the wheel.

The driver of the truck who was from Brisbane was discharged from Grafton Base Hospital yesterday.

It is understood he had a broken nose and bruising to his face and body.
