BILLY Slater made a successful return to the NRL on Thursday night against Brisbane, but the news isn't so good for his Melbourne teammates Cameron Munster and Suliasi Vunivalu.
Munster, who has starred in the Storm's fullback role while Slater's been sidelined, was on the wrong end of an ugly head clash with Broncos winger Corey Oates in the 61st minute of the match.
The 22-year-old was seen spitting blood and left the field immediately after being attended to by a trainer.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy said post-match that it appeared Munster had broken his jaw and would likely face four-to-six weeks on the sidelines, however scans will be need to assess the damage.
Should Munster be sidelined, the club have a handy replacement in Ryley Jacks who scored the opening try of the game.
And adding to that blow comes the news that gun winger Suliasi Vunivalu will miss up to a month with a dislocated shoulder.
