Doctor arrested after cocaine and child abuse images found

A SYDNEY doctor has been arrested after raids on his home allegedly uncovered cocaine and child abuse images.

The 31-year-old had been under investigation since a tip-off to Leichhardt detectives earlier this month,

Early Wednesday, police raided a home on Macquarie St in the CBD where they allegedly found mobile phones and computers containing child abuse material as well as cocaine and steroids.

The man was charged and bailed until his court appearance on October 24.
