DJ Havana Brown changes her look to suit mood

HAVANA Brown loves to mix it up when it comes to her long locks.

It has been 15 years since the popular singer and DJ last wore her hair in its natural brunette hue.

"I would really love to go dark again, like chocolate,” Brown said ahead of her performance at the Australian Hair Fashion Awards at Luna Park on Sunday night.

"But if I go brown, it would be hard to go back to blonde - it wouldn't be easy.”

Reinventing yourself as an artist is a constant pressure for entertainers.

Brown, 32, was an early adopter of changing her look to suit her mood but is now more likely to don a wig than actually dye her hair a crazy colour.

"I act differently depending on how I look,” Brown said, wearing a pink wig for the shoot.

"If I am wearing something sexy, I will act a certain way. This pink wig was more high fashion, so I automatically started moving like a mannequin.”
