Deaths of two people treated as murder-suicide

THE fatal shooting of a woman in her driveway and the discovery of a man's body outside a nearby church on the NSW Central Coast is being treated as a murder-suicide.

Police discovered the bodies within 50m of each other at Woongarrah about 5pm Thursday.

While the investigation was still in its early stages on Friday, police said there was no evidence to suggest another suspect was involved.

Anyone seeking counselling can phone Lifeline on 13 11 14.
