Crime and corruption commission focus on Rocky identity

THE Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission has a focus on well-known Rockhampton identity Blair Edward Campbell.

Supreme Court Justice Jean Dalton on Friday granted the commission a restraining order over one of the 50-year-old property investor's homes.

The order relates to Mr Campbell's house in Lakes Creek Rd, Rockhampton.

Justice Dalton ruled the company that holds the mortgage over the property must give a cheque to the value of Mr Campbell's interest in the home to the Public Trustee.

Mr Campbell is a former Rockhampton real estate agent and Cathedral of Praise church leader.

The one-time prison guard is currently in Capricornia Correctional Centre where he is waiting a court appearance on weapon, assault and obstruct police and driving charges.

APN Newsdesk is unable to reveal any more details about the restraining order granted on Friday.
