She was appointed as the first Minister for the State Plan in December, and will be attending the State Plan report back meeting for the North Coast.

She will be announcing 90 additional childcare places in the region.

While in Lismore, Ms Burney will also be visiting MEND (Men Exploring New Directions), an anti-violence project located in the Lismore, Byron, Ballina, Casino and Kyogle areas.

With Member for Page Janelle Saffin she will also be meeting team members from Northern United and the Lower Clarence Magpies, participating in Tackling Violence, the Government’s anti-domestic violence program in partnership with regional rugby league clubs.
