Coffs Coast ready to host visiting seals
A NUMBER of fur seals have come to play on the Coffs Coast with a series of seal sightings at McCauley's Headland, Mullaway Beach, South Solitary Island, Woolgoolga and the Coffs Harbour Jetty over the past week.
Dolphin Marine Magic life sciences manager Aaron Tolley said this was a popular time of year for our fury sea friends to frequent the Coffs Coast.
"Most of the seals sighted are probably the Long Nose or New Zealand Fur Seal," he said.
He said Long Nose Fur Seal numbers were increasing.
